6th Grade Math - Writing One-variable Equations and Inequalities

This post explains and gives practice opportunities related to TEKS 6.9A:

write one-variable, one-step equations and inequalities to represent constraints or conditions within problems
 

Instruction

Students have worked with variables for several years but in 6th grade they learn to write equations and inequalities that are one step and have one variable.

 

STAAR Practice
