6th Grade Math - Order of Operations and Prime Factorization

This post explains and gives practice opportunities related to TEKS 6.7A:

generate equivalent numerical expressions using order of operations, including whole number exponents and prime factorization
 

Instruction

Prime factorization is a key skill students learn in the sixth grade.

The order of operations help students simplify larger expressions.
