6th Grade Math - Additive and Multiplicative Relationships

This post explains and gives practice opportunities related to TEKS 6.4A:

compare two rules verbally, numerically, graphically, and symbolically in the form of y = ax or y = x + a in order to differentiate between additive and multiplicative relationships
 

Instruction

Additive relationships increase by the use of addition while multiplicative relationships increase more rapidly through multiplication.

 

STAAR Practice
